Neighborhood Outreach Ministries’ Vision Statement:

WEPC Neighborhood Outreach Ministries’ vision
is to be loving and merciful, Christ-centered neighbors who desire to see neighborhood families transformed and renewed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
(Micah 6:8, Romans 1:16)

Neighborhood Outreach Ministries’ Mission Statement:

(Matthew 22:37-39)

WEPC Neighborhood Outreach Ministries’ mission is
to glorify God by walking alongside the neighbors of WEPC as we:

Equip: Empowering our neighbors in Jesus’ name with resources, tools, and skills. (ex: Tutoring, ESL classes, Citizenship Classes, Tutoring Clinic)

Serve: Loving our neighbors by helping to meet their needs. (ex: Furniture Donation, Care-a-van, Family Care Teams, Deacon/Mercy Ministry)

Fellowship: Welcoming our Neighbors through having fun together and building relationships. (ex: Kings Dominion Trip, X-Games, Christmas Party, Summer Fun, Latino Ministry BBQ)

Preach Christ: Encouraging one another to hope in Jesus. (ex: Spanish Prayer Meeting, Girls Only Bible Study, Women’s Bible Study in Spanish, Sudanese Christian Fellowship)

At West End Presbyterian Church, we are grateful to live near and work with immigrant and refugee families from all over the world. We seek to care for these families in Jesus’ name by encouraging them and helping them with needs that they may have. As we get to know more families in the neighborhood, we realize that we are being challenged to see more of Jesus. We would love for you to join us in serving the neighborhood this year!
