Women’s Ministry

Our Vision for Women's Ministry

As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him—you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:4

Just as a nursing mother cares for her children, 8 so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well. 1 Thessalonians 2:7-8

In light of these truths, we develop leaders who are:

  • Gospel-centered
  • Relationally oriented
  • Biblically grounded

…by these means:

  • Identifying their gifts (both developed and undeveloped),
  • Training them in light of our church’s theology, mission and vision
  • Equipping them with tools for leading and loving others
  • Encouraging them in the power of the Gospel

…in these roles:

  • Bible Study Leading
  • Prayer
  • Administration
  • Hospitality
  • Speaking
  • Service
  • Discipling/Mentoring

…for Jesus’s glory and our joy!

Wellspring & Restore Bible Studies

The vision of Wellspring and Restore Women’s Bible Studies is for women to encounter Jesus in His Word and in one another. Our tables, our studies, and our teaching are all led by women who are in covenant community with one another and with the leadership of WEPC, in the love of Christ. It is our ministry philosophy to develop leaders and their groups relationally and thoughtfully in the grace of Jesus Christ.

If you are a member/regular attender of WEPC or do not have a church home, we invite you to register for our study! If you have a church home other than WEPC, we would love to have a conversation with you before you register! We are open to questions and conversation about any woman’s interest in participating in Wellspring and Restore.

There are two meeting times available. While they have different names, they share the same study and format. They run from September – May.

For questions or more information contact Women’s Ministry Team Member, Brice Bowman.

2026-27 Study: Letter to the Philippians

This coming year, we will consider Paul’s letter to the church at Philippi. As a letter of great joy and encouragement in the face of difficult challenges, we hope this study of Philippians will enable us to encounter Christ Jesus in the midst of our own circumstances. Jesus’s faithful work in His church over the centuries continues today. We are confident we will see His faithfulness to us this year!

BOTH Bible Study offerings cost $45 for the year (scholarships available) and childcare is offered (please mark your registration accordingly).
