The season of Lent begins on February 18 and ends on the Saturday before Easter, April 4. Lent, a tradition from the early centuries of church history, is a season of preparation preceding the celebration of Easter, focused on repentance. Speaking biblically, to repent means to make a change in our attitudes, words, and lifestyle. Beginning when we first trust Christ, and continuing throughout our lives, we turn more and more away from sin and self-centeredness and instead turn more and more to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

No nursery provided; children are welcome. An offering will be taken for the WEPC Deacon’s Fund.
