Colleen Jacoby
Children's Ministry AdministratorWhat are your primary responsibilities at WEPC?
I provide administrative support for the children's ministries at WEPC as we bring the Gospel to our children and their families. My responsibilities include planning and praying with the Children's Ministry leadership team; overseeing data management, supplies, and curriculum; and providing support for our volunteer teams and special events. Most importantly, I prayerfully serve as a follower of Christ and member of WEPC.
Why are you excited to be a part of WEPC?
As a member of WEPC since 2000, I have served in the nursery, Sunday School classrooms, been a member of several small groups including Wellspring, taught in the preschool, and am now an administrator. The Lord has blessed me with opportunities to love, share the Gospel, and to grow in my faith and relationships with others.
What is my favorite book?
One of my favorite books is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. No matter what season of life I may be in at the moment The Giving Tree always touches my heart. It reminds me to keep things simple, cherish the sweet moments, and to remember life is precious.
What brings you joy?
Being a wife and a mother brings me joy—whether I am taking a long walk with my husband, cheering my children on at a sporting event, or just eating dinner all together and sharing our days with one another.
Tell us about your family.
I married my high school sweetheart and best friend, Jason, in 2000. We have four children—Caleb, Emma, Maggie, and Colton. Rocky the Ridgeback is our family dog. As a family we love to be active and support each other in many activities. We have been blessed by lifelong friendships formed and nurtured over the years by being a part of WEPC.
