Join us to be encouraged by the dynamic witness of the Black church in the United States. Registration is required; the event is free of charge and open to the public.
Our Speaker: Walter R. Strickland II
Walter is an associate professor of systematic and contextual theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and author of the two volume work, Swing Low: A History of Black Christianity in the United States. Walter serves as a teaching elder at Imago Dei church and lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife and children. He has a passion for applying Scripture to all of life, exploring the African American Christian tradition, and living incarnationally.
